The Battle of Mobile Messaging Applications ( BBM v/s Whatsapp)

We all have witnessed wars of social networks. The great battle of Facebook and Orkut (trust me it was hard to remember this name again ), the battle of Facebook and Google Plus , the battle of hash tags of Facebook and Twitter. Today is the era of mobile messaging applications, Whatsapp, BBM, Line,Viber and various others. There were days when BBM was the supremo and it used to be a royalty to own it. Remember those days when Blackberry phones were exclusively seen as business boys' favorites? Yes, those days are gone too. But BBM was still breathing. BBM was  the app which everybody was crazy about. And again people are going crazy for this app . BBM pins are all over Facebook like diarrhea. 

        A month ago, an unreleased version of BBM appeared on the Internet and was downloaded by 1.1 million users in just 8 hours. I like to think like conspiracy theorist, so I believe that version was leaked by Blackberry itself to boast their public interests.It was difficult for BBM but finally it has made a grand debut on Android and iOS. And this time it is giving a hell tough competition to Whatsapp.  

Following are the underlying key differences between the two apps :

  In my personal opinion why I will switch to BBM over Whatsapp is only for one and only one reason. The 'last seen' feature on Whatsapp is horrifying. It  gives people a reason to fight 'hey she has seen your text and she dint reply' . I wonder how many breakups this last seen feature might have caused. Anyways BBM is absolutely FREE. So, go on people make your own discoveries on the mobile social networks.
